48.g4+ !! is a Removal. The move gives away a Pawn to Remove the King from a safe square to an Overload square. If Black tries to refuse the sacrifice and find another safe square, White just keeps the Pawn.
48...Ke4 49.f5 Bxf5 50.Ng5+ Ke5 51.gxf5
48. Ne5 works as well, but with less flair.
