I don't see why the simple 57....Re4 doesn't work faster, simply putting the rook behind the pawn. How is white going to prevent the pawn from queening. If 58. Nc5 simply play 58. e2 and if 59.Nxe4 then 59,,,,e1 =Q and black is attacking rook on h3 and knight on e4


There are a number of winning lines but...

59. Nd3 slows things down a bit.

Oops. black does not attack rook on h3 but it is 59...e1=Q check and then take the knight on e4

57...d4+ 58.Kd3 Rf2 59.Rh5 Rd2+ and you have created The Hanging Rook Formation. Plus, the e Pawn will now promote.
