Game Of The Week
This week’s game comes from way back in my chess history yet is not one of my upset victories. How did I find game 14 out of 500?
Well, I started a chess scrapbook this weekend. Actually, it was a cycling scrapbook originally. It contains my cycling photos and patches from different tours like R...

Game Of The Week
By Barbie Fortune
I do not believe I ever defeated Al Ufer even though we were often paired. Al, Kathy Schneider, and I enjoy chess and the tournaments, but we would quickly sink to the back tables at tournaments where we would often be paired with one another and have some rousing games. This year, I won 2 games, drew 0, and lost 2, taking home my tail ...

I had lost one to FM Renard Anderson, who is 7-0 against me. The others were from two new Colorado experts as of this year, Mitch Anderson and Kev...

Game Of The Week
This week’s game is my 4th published loss of the year. I have had a policy of publishing 4 losses each year I have been writing the newsletter, and so far, I have remembered to include them.
However, this year was close, as I had to publish 2 losses back-to-back just to get them in...

End Of The Season
Tuesday August 25, 2009
Well, another chess season has come to a close for me. It is time for me to move on to managing the website for my other hobby (http://spamfootball.webs.com/), but I will return after the football season ends.
